Shave Ice
At the heart of Hokulia’s menu is our Hawaiian-inspired soft and fluffy as snow shave ice, generously flowing with one of our 50 flavors imported from Hawaii. Hokulia’s ice is not ground or gritty but shaved into ultra-thin ribbons. Make your treat authentic by adding a scoop of ice cream in the middle, creamy Sno Cap topping or a local Hawaiian favorite by sprinkling Li Hing Mui Powder or Coconut Flakes on top.

Our gourmet popcorn fundraiser is a great way for you to earn additional funds for your organization. You will receive a percent of every popcorn tin you sell. We can customize the product and tin for each organization.
Dine In Nights Fundraiser
Schedule an in-store fundraiser day and bring people together to enjoy some delicious treats to support your group or organization. We will donate a portion of the documented proceeds received that day from your group. To help you promote the event, we will create flyers for you to distribute.

We will sell you gift cards at a discount and when you sell them for full value, you may keep the difference for your group or organization.

About Us
Meet the Arrington family, owners of Hokulia Hawaiian Shave Ice in Hollister! We have lived in different places across the country until six years ago, when we decided to put down roots in Hollister. We love doing things together as a family—traveling, snow and water skiing, playing pickleball, spending time at the beach, and playing music together to name a few.
We have visited the island of Kaua’i several times and there we developed a passion for delicious Hawaiian shave ice. When we tried Hokulia Shave Ice for the first time, we knew immediately that it was authentic and just as good as the shave ice of Kaua’i. Before long, we decided we just had to open a store in Hollister!
Our ice is shaved into a soft, fluffy, snow-like texture so that any of the 50 authentic imported Hawaiian flavors penetrate all the way through. Our shave ice is even better when paired with a scoop of one of our Hawaiian-inspired flavors of ice cream, and topped with a sweet cream sno-cap, Li Hing Mui powder, or coconut flakes! In addition, we are excited to bring you tropical smoothies, over 30 flavors of Super Premium Farr’s Ice Cream, and over 30 flavors of gourmet popcorn.
